Members subject to supervision by fire <br /> officers. <br /> <br /> At all times when a member of the Fire Reserve <br /> Unit is accompanied by a member of the regular fire de- <br /> partment, the member of the regular fire department <br /> will be the person in charge of the operation being <br /> accomplished. <br /> Sec. 12-113. Transfer of inember from one shift to <br /> another. <br /> <br /> Any transfer of a member of the Fire Reserve <br /> Unit from one shift to another shall be with the con- <br /> sent of the Fire Chief. <br /> Sec. 12-114. Termination of inembership; suspension or <br /> demotion of inember. <br /> <br /> (a) Any member of the Fire Reserve Unit may, <br /> of his own volition, terminate his membership. In <br /> addition, any membermay be removed, suspended or de- <br /> moted for: <br /> (1) Flagrant and serious violation of <br /> Reserve Unit or Fire Department <br /> rules and regulations. <br /> (2) Repeated minor violations of Reserve <br /> Unit or Fire Department rules and <br /> regulations. <br /> <br /> The method of determining and administering desciplinary <br /> action shall be under the supervision of the City Council <br /> and the Fire Chief. <br /> (b) When a member of the Fire Reserve Unit is <br /> terminated for any reason, all uniforms, badges, identi- <br /> fication, and other equipment shall be returned to the <br /> Fire Chief in reasonable condition. A release will then <br /> be signed to clear a terminating member of any obligation <br /> in this regard. <br /> Sec. 12-115. Article not to affect Fire Department or <br /> operation of Civil Service Act. <br /> <br /> Nothing within this article shall be construed to <br /> in any way or manner affect the operation of the Fire De- <br /> partment or the rights and privileges ofT~the members there- <br /> of under the Civil Service Act of Texas. <br /> Section 2.
