Transfer of inember from one shift to another. <br /> <br /> Any transfer of a member of the EMS Reserve <br /> Unit from one shift to another shall be with the consent <br /> of the Director. <br /> Sec. 2-65. Termination of inembership; suspension or <br /> demotion of inember. <br /> <br /> (a) Any member of the EMS Reserve Unit may, <br /> of his own volition, terminate his membership. In <br /> addition, any member may be removed, suspended or de- <br /> moted for: <br /> (1) Flagrant and serious violation of <br /> Reserve Unit or EMS Department rules <br /> and regulations. <br /> <br /> (2) Repeated minor violations of Reserve <br /> Unit or EMS Department rules and re- <br /> gulations. <br /> The method of determining and administering desciplinary <br /> action shall be under the supervision of the City Council <br /> and the Director. <br /> <br /> (b) Vh.en a member of the EMS Reserve Unit is <br /> terminated for any reason, all uniforms, badges, identi- <br /> fication, and other equipment shall be returned to the <br /> Director in reasonable condition. A release will then be <br /> signed to clear a terminating member of any obligation in <br /> this regard. <br /> Sec. 2-66. Article not to affect EMS Department or oper- <br /> ation of Civil Service Act. <br /> Nothing within this article shall be construed <br /> to in any way or manner affect the operation of the EMS <br /> Department or the rights and privileges of the members <br /> thereof under the Civil Service Act of Texas." <br /> Section 2. That Sections 2-77 through 2-80 be reserved for <br /> future use. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That Sections 2-62 through 2-64 of Article V be <br /> renumbered as Section 2-81 through 2-83. <br /> <br /> Section 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict <br /> herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br /> Section 5.
