<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> All plasticity indexes to be determined by an independent <br /> testing laboratory approved by the City of Paris w.ith the <br /> certified results of same being furnished to the City <br /> Engineer with construction plans. All arterial streets <br /> subgrade shall be as required by the City Engineer and <br /> shall meet or exceed the subgrade required for local <br /> and collector streets. All subgrades shall have density <br /> control as required by the City Eng.ineer. " <br /> <br /> Section 9. That Subparagraphs (2) through (4) of Section <br /> VIII, C shall be amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "(2) All local streets within a subdivis.ion shall have <br /> a min.imum of either, (a) six (6) inches, compacted <br /> thickness, soil asphalt base (road mix), (b) five (5) <br /> inches, compacted thickness, asphalt stabilized base <br /> (plant mix, (c) six (6) inches, Portland cement stabi- <br /> lized soil base of a minimum average unconfined com, <br /> pressive strength of 500 P. S. I, at seven (7) days, <br /> (d) two , four (4) inch compacted thickness, lifts of <br /> crushed rock flex.ible base, meet.ing Type A, Grade 2 <br /> requirements, of Section 27 -20, City of Paris Code of <br /> Ordinances, or its equivalent, as determined by the <br /> City Engineer, or (e) five (5) inches Portland cement <br /> reinforced with 6" x 6" - D6/D6 welded wire or No. 3 <br /> Grade 60 deformed bars using 18" spac.ing in each <br /> d.irection. All bases shall have density control as re- <br /> quired by the City Engineer. <br /> <br /> (3) All collector streets with.in a subdivisio.i shall <br /> have a minimum of e.ither, (a) seven (7) inches, com- <br /> pacted thickness, soil asphalt base (road mix), (b) six <br /> (6) inches, compacted thickness, asphalt stabilized base <br /> (plant mix), (c) seven (7) inches, Portland cement <br /> stabilized soil base of a minimum average unconf.ined <br /> compressive strength of 500 P.
