That the date for public hearing before the City <br /> Council of the abutting property owners on the above described <br /> property is hereby fixed Teas0o on the o'clock <br /> day of tMay lt 1980.uncil <br /> Room, City Hall, Paris, , <br /> The City Clerk is hereby directed to publish in the Paris News, <br /> notice of the public hearing, three (3) times prior to said public <br /> hearing, the first of said notices to be published at least <br /> twenty-one (21) days prior to the date of the public hearing, as <br /> required by law. <br /> Section 2. That the report to the City Council by the <br /> Director of Public Works, consisting of the final estimate of the <br /> costs of the improvements to the abutting property owners os an <br /> approximately $4.75 per front foot for curb and gutter, pl Y <br /> additional costs to extend driveways and other improvements to <br /> individual property as requested by property owners, as hereto- <br /> fore approved, and the final constructian plans and final estimate, <br /> as prepared by said Director of Public Works, are ~~1 ~eings <br /> approved by the City Council of the City of Paris. <br /> City of Paris is to pay all of the costs of drainage installation, <br /> excavation, base preparation and paving, curb and gutter within <br /> intersections, replacement of inadequate water main and other <br /> appurtenances, in the amount of $387, 090. 70, and the abutting <br /> property owners are to pay the remaining costs of $28, 297. 54 <br /> for curb and gutter and driveways. <br /> Section 3. That it is the intention of the City Council to <br /> assess the abutting property owners and to fix a lien against the <br /> abutting property, as provided for and under the terms and pro- <br /> visions of Chapter 106 of the Acts of the First Called Sess.ion of <br /> the 40th Legislature of the State of Texas, now designated as <br /> Article 1105b, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes, under which law <br /> these proceedings were taken and had. <br /> <br /> Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Paris, <br /> in regular session convened, on th.is the 14th day of April, 1980. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Michae .
