City Council Meeting <br />April 9, 2001 <br />Page 8 <br />A motion was made by Councilman McCarthy , seconded by Councilman <br />Plata, to table action on Agenda Item No. 7-G., approving and authorizing <br />the execution of Change Order No. One to the contract between the City of <br />Paris and Service Electric of Southeastern Oklahoma, Inc., for the electrical <br />service for Fire Station No. Four until additional information is recei v ed. <br />The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Resolution No. 2001-045, accepting a deed of donation of prop erty from <br />Glenn A. Smallwood of Lot 2, Block L of the East Park Addition, located on <br />th <br />the southwest corner of 15 Street N. E. and Center Street, was presented. <br />A motion was made by Mayor Pro Tem Manning, seconded by Councilman <br />Carter, for approval of the resolution. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Resolution No. 2001-046, authorizing the execution of a tax sales deed for <br />one tract of tax delinquent property to St. Paul Baptist Church for Lot 11, <br />n d <br />Block 76 of the Larkin Rattan Survey, Abstract 778, being number 459 2 <br />Street N. E., was presented. A motion was made by Councilman McCarthy, <br />seconded by Councilman Plata, for approval of the resolution. The motion <br />carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Resolution No. 2001-047, approving a proclamation declaring the month of <br />April as Fair Housing Month, was presented. A motion was made by Mayor <br />Pro Tem Manning, seconded by Councilman Plata, for approval of the <br />resolution. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Resolution No. 2001-048, approving the form of the Change Order No. One <br />t h <br />to the contract for the Martin Lut her King, Jr. Drive Extension from 6 <br />Street N. E. west to N. Mai n Street Project, to reflect the actual cost of <br />installation of eight (8) units of a Type E inlet 5'-0", and providing for an <br />increase of $21,600.00 in the contract price, for a total contract price of <br />$449,375.00, was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Bell, <br />seconded by Councilman Gray, for approval of the resolution. The motion <br />carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Resolution No. 2001-049, accepting disaster relief funding from the United <br />States Department of Agriculture, Natural Resources Conservation service, <br />for the City of Paris-USDA/NRCS Drainage Ditch Storm Debris Removal <br />Project in the total amount of $214,700.00 with the city’s share to be 25% <br />of the total cost to be provided in the form of in-kind services; authorizing <br />the City Manager, City Attorney, Director of Public Works, and Director of <br />
