Motion carried by a vote of 6 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />Public Hearing to consider the petition of Leroy Clarkson for a <br />change in zoning from a Two-Family Dwelling District (2F) to a <br />Commercial District (C), Lot 7, City Block 189, being number 1334 <br />Bonham Street. <br /> <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br /> <br />Leroy Clarkson, 754 1st NW, spoke in favor of the petition stating that <br />he owns 3 lots at this location and 2 lots are already zoned <br />Commercial. He would like for this propertyto be zoned Commercial <br />for the purpose of building apartments on all three lots. <br /> <br />There was no opposition, the public hearing was declared closed. <br /> <br />Consideration of and action on the petition of Leroy Clarkson for a <br />change in zoning from a Two-Family Dwelling District (2F) to a <br />Commercial District (C), Lot 7, City Block 189, being number 1334 <br />Bonham Street. <br /> <br />Motion was made to approve by Eddie Vincent and seconded by <br />Louis Yates. Motion carried by a vote of 4 ayes and 2 nays. <br /> <br />Public Hearing to consider the petition of Calvin Gibson for a <br />change in zoning from a Two-Family Dwelling District (2F), to a One- <br />Family Dwelling District No. 3 (SF-3) With Specific Use Permit (39) <br />Mobile Homes, Lots 19 and 20, City Block '160, being numbers 1050 <br />and 1t06 5th SE. <br /> <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br /> <br />Calvin Gibson spoke in favor of the petition stating that he owns the <br />lots that have been vacant for sometime. He has an interest in <br />putting mobile homes on the property. Mr. Gibson stated that there <br />are other mobile homes in the area. <br /> <br /> <br />
