Airport Advisory Board Meeting <br />May 15, 2001 <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />Drake Construction. The City Council tabled the award for the hangar <br />bid and requested that the Airport Advisory Board recommend a 7 unit <br />or a 10 unit "T" hangar. Wendell Moore explained that the city could <br />have a 10 unit hangar for the price ofa 7 unit hangar; he explained the <br />minor changes that would be required for a 10 hangar unit. J.W. <br />Ashmore moved for a special meeting to consider recommendations for <br />the 10 unit hangar; seconded by Vic Abeles; passed by a 4 to 1 vote. <br />The Special Meeting was scheduled for May 29, 2001. <br /> <br />VI. <br /> <br />Status of the RAMP grant to secure security cameras and painting <br />outside of hangar H. We have received the grant from TxDot. City will <br />pay and TxDot will reimburse 50%. Painting will start on or about <br />May 29th. <br /> <br />VII. <br /> <br />Jim Collier reported that we have a phone line in the pilot lounge for <br />contact with Flight Service. A table has been moved into the pilot <br />lounge for use in flight planning. A planning map is to be installed as <br />soon as possible. <br /> <br />VIII. The city council has approved the request from Larry Townes to <br /> increase the size of his hangar. <br /> <br />IX. The meeting was adjourned at 7:20 P.M. <br /> <br />J. W.
