ORDINANCE NO. 2115 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TFXAS, PROVIDING <br />THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, BE AMENDED BY REVIS- <br />ING SBCTIONS 6-17 AND 6-21(4 ) AND (5), AND BY A.DDING SUBSFCTIONS <br />(9), (10) AND (11) TO SBCTION 6-21; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT <br />TO EXCEED $200.00; REPFALING ALL ORDINANCFS OR PARTS OF <br />ORDINANCFS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFDCTIVE <br />DATE OF NOVEMBEZ 1, 1972. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS : <br />Section 1. That Section 6-17 of the Code of Ordinances of <br />the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended so that such shall <br />read as follows: <br />"Section 6-17. Application for permit. <br />(a) The City Clerk of the City of Paris will <br />provide an application for permit to all persons <br />desiring to engage in an aeronautical activity on <br />Cox Field. The Airport Manager will maintain forms <br />for application for aeronautical activities, which <br />may be procured by persons desiring to engage in <br />such activity at Cox Field. <br />(b) Permits shall be reviewed annually by the <br />Airport Advisory Board, which sh,.all make recommenda- <br />tions to the City Council for or against renewal. <br />(c) All permitees under this section shall <br />attend fire, rescue and other emergency training as <br />directed by the Airport Manager and shall serve as <br />a volunteer on the fire and rescue crew to answer <br />all emergencies. <br />(d) The requirements prescribed by this <br />article shall constitute the minimum standards to <br />be met as a condition for the right of any person <br />to conduct an aeronautical activity on Cox Field. <br />Such standards are reasonable and relevant to the <br />covered activities and shall be applied objectively <br />and uniformly. That Subparagraphs (4) and (5) of Section 6-21 <br />of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be <br />amended so that such shall read as follows: <br />"Section 6-21. Fuel and oil sales. <br />(4) The operator must maintain uniformed <br />personnel on full-time duty from 8:00 A. M. to <br />6:30 P. M. or dusk, whichever is later, seven (7) <br />days a week, and be on call for reasonable re- <br />quests at all other times. <br />
