ORDINANCE NO. 2162 . AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE EXTENSION OF CER- TAIN BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY CONSISTING OF 12.12 ACRES, MORE OR LESS, WHICH IS LESS THAN TEN PER CENT (1070) OF THE TERRITORY INCLUDED WITHIN ITS PRESENT CITY LIMITS, WHICH SAID TERRITORY LIES ADJACENT TO AND AJOINS THE PRESENT BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS. WHEREAS, a public hearing before the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, where all interested persons were pro- vided with an opportunity to be heard on the proposed annexation of the following described territory: Situated in the County of Lamar and State of Texas, a part of the John W. Williams Survey, and described as follows: BEGINNING at a point 50 feet North of Highway 271 East C/L Survey Station 185+42.4, and being in the City Limits line described by City Ordinance No. 2119, dated November 20, 1972; THENCE S. 53 °02' E. , parallel and 50 feet North of said Highway C/L, a distance of 2202. 6 feet to a point, said point being 50 feet North of Highway 271 C/L Station 207+45 and C/L Sta. (F. M. 1508) 4+92. 9 and the beginning of a curve to the left on F. M. 1508, which curve has a radius of 591. 37 feet, degree of 9°41' and intersection angle of 47 ° 16' ; THENCE along said F. M. Highway No. 1508 and curve to the left being 50 feet North of and radial with said C/L a distance of 488. 2 feet to the end of said curve; THENCE N. 80 °30' E., parallel with C/L of said F. M. Highway and being 50 feet North of it, a distance of 2548. 7 feet to a point, said point being 50 feet North of F. M. Highway C/L Sta. 35+70.3; THENCE S. 9°30' E. , a distance of 100 feet to a point; THENCE S. 80 030' W. and being 50 feet South of and parallel with C/L of said F. M. Highway, a distance of 2548. 7 feet to the beginning of a curve to the right, said curve having a radius of 691. 37 feet, degree 8°17' and intersection angle 47°16'; THENCE along said F. M. Highway No. 1508 and curve to the right and being 50 feet South of and radial with said C/L a distance of 571. 7 feet to the end of said curve; THENCE N. 53 °02' W. , parallel and being 50 feet South of C/L of Highway 271 East, a distance of 2202. 6 feet to a point, said point being 50 feet South of Highway C/L Station No. 185+42.4, also being the City Limits Line described by Ordinance No. 2119, dated November 20, 1972; THENCE N. 36°58' E. , a distance of 100 feet to the place of beginning, containing in all 12. 12 acres.
