THENCE N. 80 030' E. , parallel with C/L of said F. M. Highway and being 50 feet North of it, a distance of 2548. 7 feet to a point, said point being 50 feet North of F. M. Highway C/L Sta. 35+70.3; THENCE S. 9°30' E. , a distance of 100 feet to a point; THENCE S. 80 °30' W. and being 50 feet South of and parallel with C/L of said F. M. Highway, a distance of 2548. 7 feet to the beginning of a curve to the right, said curve having a radius of 691. 37 feet, degree 8017' and intersection angle 47 ° 16' ; THENCE along said F. M. Highway No. 1508 and curve to the right and being 50 feet South of and radial with said C/L a distance of 571. 7 feet to the end of said curve; THENCE N. 53 °02' W. , parallel and being 50 feet South of C/L of Highway 271 East, a distance of 2202. 6 feet to a point, said point being 50 feet South of Highway C/L Station No. 185+42. 4, also being the City Limits Line described by Ordinance No. 2119, dated November 20, 1972; THENCE N. 3 6°58' E. , a distance of 100 feet to the place of beginning, containing in all 12. 12 acres. Section 2. The above described territory and area so annexed shall be a part of the City of Paris, Texas, and the pro- perty so added hereby shall bear its pro rata part of the taxes levied by the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, and the inhabitants thereof shall be entitled to all of the rights and privileges of all the citizens and shall be bound by the acts, ordinances, resolutions and regulations of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas. Section 3. It is hereby declared to be the intention of the City Council of the City of Paris that the sections, paragraphs, sentences, clauses and phrases of this ordinance are severable, and if any phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph or section of this ordinance shall be declared unconstitutional or invalid by the valid judgment or decree of any court of competent jurisdiction, such un- constitutionality or invalidity shall not affect any of the remaining phrases, clauses, sentences, paragraphs and sections of this ordinance, since the same would have been enacted by the City Council without the incorporation in this ordinance of any unconsti - tutional or invalid phrases, clauses, sentences, paragraphs or sections. It is further hereby declared to be the intention of the City Council of the City of Paris to exclude any area or areas de - scribed in the description of the property to be annexed, which are not within said City's jurisdiction to annex and that such area or areas should be carved out of the description of the property herein described by the valid judgment or decree of any court of competent jurisdiction, in order that such area or areas would not cause this annexation ordinance to be found to be invalid, voidable or void. Section 4. This ordinance shall be published and passed in the manner provided in Article II, Section 7, of the Charter of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas.
