ORDINANCE NO, 2057 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE <br />CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ES- <br />TABLISHED SY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A <br />COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON A PART OF LOT 8, CITY BLOCK 266, ON <br />PROPERTY BELONGING TO BASS & PETTIT, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEZEIN <br />TERRITORY FORMERLY DFSIGNATED AS A PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT <br />(PD), COMMUNITY UNIT DEVELOPMENT, AND FSTABLISHING A ONE-FA,MILY <br />DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 3(SF-3) ON A PART OF LOT 8, CITY BLOCK <br />266, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO BASS & PETTIT, SO AS TO INCLUDE <br />THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATF-D AS A PLANNE,D DEVELOPMENT <br />DISTRICT (PD), COMM[JNITY UNIT DEVELOPMENT AND SHOPPING CENTER, <br />LIMITED TO THAT WHICH COULD BE PLACED WITHIN A NEIGHBORHOOD <br />SERVICE DISTRICT (NS); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE <br />COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) AND ONE-FAMILY DWEI.LING DISTRICT NO. 3 <br />(SF-3) SO ESTABLISHED. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARJS, <br />PARI S , TF.XAS : <br />Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established <br />by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, <br />Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a <br />Commercial District (C), be, and the same is hereby established <br />on a Part of Lot 8, City Block 266, on property belongim to <br />Bass & Pettit, so as to include in such Commercial District (C) <br />the hereinaf'ter described property, which was formerly and is <br />presently designated as a Planned Development District (PD), <br />Community Unit Development, and that the boundaries of said <br />Commercial District (C), be, and the same are hereby established <br />as follows: <br />Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of <br />Paris, County of Lamar and State of Texas, a part of the <br />Hiraam Williams Survey, and being all of a 0.51 acre <br />tract of la,nd conveyed Selby Pierce by deed recorded in <br />Vol. 409, Page 356, also being a part of a 5 acre tract <br />of land conveyed Selby Pierce by deed recorded in Vol. <br />336, Page 628, also bein g a part of a 10.7 acre tract <br />of land conveyed Selby Pierce by deed recorded in Vol. <br />277, Page 486, of the Deed Records of said County and <br />State. <br />Beginning at a stake for corner in the East <br />Boundary Line of said 10.7 acre tract of land where the <br />same intersects the present South Boundary Line of Loop <br />Highway 286; <br />Thence North 63 Degrees West along the South <br />Boundary Line of Loop 286; <br />Thence South 23 Deg. Gbst a distance of 492.1 feet <br />to a stake in the West Boundary Line of said 5 acre <br />tract of land; <br />Thence South a distance o.f 321 feet to a point for <br />corner, the same being the planned North Bdundary Line <br />of an extension of Hickory Street; <br />Thence East with the proposed North Boundary Line <br />of Hickory Street extension to the East Boundary Line <br />of said 10.7 acre tract of land; <br />Thence North 1 Degree East 501 feet to the place <br />of beginning. <br />
