ORDINANCE NO. 2061 AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON PRO- PERTY ON 20TH STREET, N. E. , FROM A POINT 6 FEET SOUTH OF THE SOUTH EAST CORNER OF LOT 5, CITY BLOCK NO. 227-E2 IN A NORTHERLY DIRDCTION APPROXIMATELY 433 FEET TO THE NORTH EAST CORNER OF LOT 10, CITY BLOCK NO. 227-E, IN THE CITY OF PARIS, TFXAS; DI- RDCTING THE CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF PARIS TO PUBLISH THE SAME THREE (3) TIMES IN THE PARIS NEWS AS REQUIRED BY LAW; APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE FINAL ESTIMATE OF COSTS AND CONSTRUCTION PLANS OF SUCH STREET IMPROVEMENTS AS FILED BY THE DIRE)Z:TOR OF PUBLIC WORKS OF THE CITY OF PARIS; FIXING THE CHARGFS TO BE ASSESSED AGAINST THE ABUTTING PROPERTY OWNERS AND THE CHARGFS TO BE PAID BY THE CITY OF PARIS; AND WITH THE INTENTION OF FIXING A CHARGE AND LIEN AGAINST THE REAL AND TRUE OWNERS OF SAID PROPERTY AND AGAINST THE SAID PROPFRTY ITSELF. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, hereby finds and determines: 1. That the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, has heretofore by ordinance duly enacted on the 8th day of February, 1971, determined the ne- cessity for and ordered the improvement of 20th Street, N. E., from a point 6 feet South of the South East Corner of Lot 5, City Block No. 227-E, in a Northerly direction approximately 433 feet to the North East Corner of Lot 10, City Block No. 227-E, by installation of curb and gutter, storm sewer and paving, and according to the plans and specifications prepared by the Director of Public Works. 2. That a notice duly executed in the name of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, of the enactment of said above described ordinance has heretofore been filed with the County Clerk of Lamar County, Texas, the County in which said City of Paris is situated. 3. That the City Council has caused the Director of Public Works to prepare and file estimates of the costs of such improvements and estimates of the amounts per front foot to be assessed against the property abutting said street within the limits defined and the real and true owners thereof. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS: Section l. The date for public hearing before the City Council of the abutting property owners on the above described property is hereby fixed at 7:00 o'clock P. M., in the City Council Room, City Hall, Paris, Texas, on the lOth day of January, 1972. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to pub- lish in the Paris News, notice of the public hearing, three (3) times prior to said public hearing, the first of said notices to be published at least twenty-one (21) days prior to the date of the public hearing, as required by law.
