Section 2. That the report to the City Council of the <br />Director of Public Works, consisting of the final estimate of <br />the costs of improvements to the abutting property owners of <br />approximately $3.75 per front foot for 48" x 6" curb and <br />gutter and $2.75 per front foot for 24" x 6" curb and gutter, <br />plus any additional costs to extend driveways and other im- <br />provements to individual property as requested by property <br />owners, as heretofore approved, and the final construction <br />plans and final estimate, as prepared by said Director of <br />Public Works, are in all things approved by the City Council <br />of the City of Paris. That the City of Paris is to pay all <br />drainage costs in the amount of $5,815.73; the Texas Highway <br />Department is to pay for Farm to Market Road paving in the <br />aamount of $1,620.42; and the abutting property owners are to <br />pay the remaining costs of $1,145.02. <br />Sectio n 3. That it is the intention of the City Council <br />to assess the abutting property owners and to fix a lien <br />against the abutting property, as provided for and under the <br />terms and provisions of Chapter 106 of the Acts of the First <br />Called Session of the 40th Legislature of the State of Texas, <br />now designated as Article 1105b, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes, <br />under which law these proceedings are taken and had. <br />C,_ <br />1 . . . ~ <br />Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of <br />Paris, in regular session convened, on this the 13th day of <br />December, 1971. <br />
