(15) Paragraph 19.4.9 shall be changed by adding under <br />Type of Fixture or Device and Minimum Pipe Size and immediately <br />after Wall Hydrant 112, the following: <br />"Water Heater <br />3/,4, r <br />(16) Paragraph 19.4.12 shall be changed to read as <br />follows: <br />1119.4.12 Water Supply Control: An approved stop and <br />waste shut-off valve shall be installed in the water service pipe <br />on the property side of the meter, adjacent to the City Meter <br />Box. Said valve shall be equipped with a cut-off key and pro- <br />tected by an approved enclosure with a removable cover." <br />(17) In Paragraph 22.2.1 the first sentence thereof <br />shall be amended to read as follows: <br />"All pipe used for the installation, extension, altera- <br />tion, or repair of any gas piping shall be new black steel, copper <br />or polyethelene, free from splits, internal obstructions or other <br />defects." <br />(18) In Paragraph 22.2.2 the second sentence thereof <br />shall be changed by inserting therein immediately after PE 3306 <br />the following words: "or equivalent" <br />(19) Paragraph 22.2.3 shall be changed to read as <br />follows: <br />Y122.2.3 Yard Lines: Yard lines underground shall be <br />Type "K" or "L" copper or black steel protected against soil <br />corrosion with an approved type protective coating and sacrifi- <br />cial anode, or polyethelene pipe, tubes and fittings conforming <br />to A.S.T.M. D-2513-57 and C.S. 255-63, and shall be installed <br />according to manufacturer's recommendations. A minimum size of <br />1 inch pipe may be used from the meter to the property line <br />provided that intermediate pressure gas is available or pro- <br />vided that this size is of sufficient capacity to supply the re- <br />quirements. No smaller than 14 inch pipe shall be used from <br />meter to first opening in building." <br />(20) Paragraph 22.2.5 shall be changed by deleting <br />from the second sentence thereof the word "galvanized". <br />(21) Paragraph 22.2.7 shall be changed by adding to <br />the end of said paragraph the following sentence: <br />"No polyethelene pipe shall extend above the level <br />of the ground." <br />(22) Paragraph 22.2.8 shall be changed to read as <br />follows : <br />1122.2.8 Insulated Connections: Al1 connections <br />between ferrous and non-ferrous piping, except applicance <br />connections, shall be made by the use of dielectric couplings, <br />unions or bushings." <br />
