Planning and Zoning Meeting <br />June 5, 2001 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />Consideration of and action on the petition of Stephanie Hunt for a <br />change in zoning from a Two-Family Dwelling District (2F), to a <br />Neighborhood Service District (NS), Lot 13, City Block 64-B, being <br />number 727 Pine Bluff. <br /> <br />Motion was made to approve by Bobby Myers and seconded by <br />Marshall Kent with hedges planted around the parking lot. Motion <br />carried by a vote of 5 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />Public Hearing to consider the petition of Calvin Gibson for a change <br />in zoning from a Two-Family Dwelling District (2F), to a One-Family <br />Dwelling District No. 3 (SF-3) With Specific Use Permit (39) Mobile <br />Homes, Lots 19 and 20, City Block 160, being numbers 1050 and 1106 <br />5th Street SE. <br /> <br />This item was tabled at the May 7, 2001 meeting. Should the <br />Commission wish to consider this matter tonight, a motion to bring this <br />item from the table is required. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Bobby Myers for the item to be brought from <br />table and seconded by Marshall Kent. Motion carried by a vote of 5 <br />ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br /> <br />Calvin Gibson spoke in favor of the petition stating that he owns the <br />property and has a buyer who wants to put a mobile home on these lots. <br />The Commission asked how the mobile homes would be placed on the <br />lots. Mr. Gibson stated that they would be placed vertically because the <br />lots are only 42' wide. <br /> <br />Tracy Clay, owner of Quality Manufactured Homes, was favor of the <br />petition and he presented to the Commission a copy of a proposed <br />ordinance for the City of Paris regarding manufactured homes. <br /> <br /> <br />
