10. <br /> <br />Planning and Zoning Meeting <br />June 5, 2001 <br />Page 5 <br /> <br />District (2F) to a Commercial District (C), Lot 7, City Block 189, being <br />number 1334 Bonham Street. <br /> <br />Motion was made to table by Marshall Kent and seconded by Bobby <br />Myers. Motion carried by a vote of 5 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />Public Hearing to consider the petition of Ashley Redhead for a change <br />in zoning from a One-Family Dwelling District No. 3 (SF-3) to a <br />Multiple-Family Dwelling District No. 1 (MF-1), Lot 18, Block Q, East <br />Park Addition and Lot 19, Block P, East Park Addition. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br /> <br />Ashley Redhead spoke in favor of the petition stating that he owns the <br />property and would like to build triplexes or duplexes there. Mr. <br />Redhead stated that several quadplexes are on Fitzhugh directly behind <br />his property. <br /> <br />Chairman Hayter asked if the lots are large enough for quadplexes with <br />off street parking. Mr. Redhead wasn't sure. Mr. Hayter asked if Mr. <br />Redhead would consider Duplex zoning (2F) instead. Mr. Redhead <br />stated that 2F zoning is fine. <br /> <br />There was no opposition, the public hearing was declared closed. <br /> <br />Consideration of and action on the petition of Ashley Redheadfor a. <br />change in zoning from a One-Family Dwelling District No. 3 (SF-3) to <br />a Multiple-Family Dwelling District No. 1 (MF-1), Lot 18, Block Q, East <br />Park Addition and Lot 19, Block P, East Park Addition. <br /> <br />Motion was made to approve as Two-Family Dwelling District (2F) <br />zoning by Bobby Myers and seconded by Vincent Battles. Motion <br />carried by a vote of 5 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br /> <br />
