available at this time. <br />Section 5. That the Texas Recreation and Parks Account (TRPA) Grant for the Paris <br />Sports Complex Project be accepted upon notice of award of the same by the Texas Parks and <br />Wildlife Department. <br />Section 6. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, appointed as the Authorized Official of <br />said project and is authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the City of Paris, the application for <br />grant in the form attached hereto as Exhibit A. <br />Section 7. That the Public Warks Director be, and he is hereby, appointed as Project Director <br />and is hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver, on behalf of the City of Paris, all reports, <br />communications, assurances, and documents necessary for the completion of said project. <br />Section 8. That the Director of Finance be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to serve <br />as the Financial Officer for said project and to receive and distribute funds for the Public Warks <br />Department's participation in the Texas Recreation and Parks Account (TRPA) Grant Program. <br />Section 9. That the City Manager, the Public Works Director, and the Finance Director <br />be authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the City of Paris, any and all documents <br />necessary for acceptance of said grant upon notice of award thereof by the Texas Parks and <br />Wildlife Department, under the terms and conditions and in the form approved by the City <br />Attorney. <br />Section 10. That the Paris Sports Complex is hereby dedicated (or will be dedicated upon <br />completion of the proposed acquisition) for public park and recreation purposes in perpetuity. <br />Section 11. That this resolution shall become effective from and after its date of passage. <br />PASSED AND APPROVED this 9th day of July, 2001. <br />Michael J.
