Before the creation of ARCHITEXAS, he was an urban <br />planner for the City of Dallas and played a significant role in the Historic Preservation Program. Since <br />the founding of ARCHITEXAS, he has gained extensive experience as principal in charge and project <br />manager for many of the finn's historic preservation and preservation planning projects. He has managed <br />many of the firm's most significant projects including the Hill County Courthouse Restoration, the Tower <br />Building and Centennial Building Restoration at Fair Park. He is a registered architect in the State of <br />Texas and has served on many boards and commissions including the Dallas Landmark Commission and <br />the Fair Park Deign Review Task Force. <br /> <br />Gary Skotnicki is a founding principal in the finn. Before the creation of ARCHITEXAS, he was an <br />urban planner and urban Designer for the City of Dallas and played a significant role in the Historic <br />Preservation program and the Urban Design Division providing planning on such projects as the <br />expansion of the historic Farmer's Market and the Streetscape program. Since the founding of <br />ARCHITEXAS, he has gained experience as project designer in many of the firm's architectural and <br />restoration projects including the new Grapevine City Hall, Grapevine Convention & Visitors Bureau <br />Offices, the Sammons Center for the Arts and the Hill County Courthouse.
