Relevant Project Experience and References <br /> <br />ARCH1TEXAS <br />Hill County Courthouse Restoration - Hillsboro, Texas 1993 - 1999 <br />National Register of Historic Places, Recorded Texas Historic Landmark, State Archeological Landmark <br />Phased master plan and full architectural services through construction for historic 1891 county <br />courthouse that was severely damaged by fire. Scope of work included restoration of the courthouse <br />grounds aris coordination of fund-raising activities to achieve a $10,000,000 goal. The project received a <br />$3,000,000 grant from the ISTEA program. Phase 1 exterior restoration and structural stabilization was <br />completed in 1996 for $3.8 million. Phase I1 interior rehabilitation was completed April 1999 for $4.7 <br />million. Riely Gordon designed county courthouse restoration and courthouse grounds. Phase I scope of work <br />completed in December 1999 included restoration of the exterior sandstone tower, slate roof and <br />ornamental sheet metal.
