Riely Gordon Courthouse that currently houses an extensive historical museum. Phase I included <br />restoration of the dome, historical embellishments and roof/water management and coordination of the <br />Christmas Festival lighting, completed in 1999. The master plan <br />included the restoration plan for the courthouse grounds. <br /> <br />Red River County Courthouse - Clarksville, Texas 1998 - Current <br />National Register of Historic Places, Recorded Texas Historic Landmark, State Archeological Landmark <br /> <br />ARCH1TEXAS is currently providing preservation and restoration architectural services for the exterior <br />rehabilitation of the 1884 Red River Courthouse designed by William H. Wilson. The exterior <br />rehabilitation scope of work includes restoration of the wood windows, cleaning and tuck pointing the <br />sandstone, repair/restore cornice and down spouts, new entry doors and frames to match original design, <br />new stone entry steps and restoration and painting the clock tower. <br />Project Restoration Budget Estimated: $4.4 million <br />Phase I Budget: $250,000 <br />Project Architects - Craig Melde, Principal In Charge, Larry Irsik/Project Manager <br />Reference - County Judge L. The Master Plan for a $22 million restoration of the buildings and the art <br />and the full Esplanade of State was completed in January, 1998.
