Bonham Sam Raybum: Drive Project -- This $500,000 project involves removal and <br />replacement of existing sidewalks and curbs along Sam Rayburn (SH 56) from the central <br />business district out to SH 121. Other elements include 24" and 36" storm sewer, historic <br />lighting, accessibility improvements, landscaping and irrigation. Construction is now 70% <br />complete. While the project is funded entirely by the City, SH 56 is a state highway which <br />has required close coordination with TxDOT throughout the project. Reeves Hayter, P.E. <br />is serving as project manager. <br /> Cooper "Heritage Square" TEA 21 Project -- This project, funded though the TxDOT TEA <br /> 21 program, involves sidewalk and curb restoration around the square in downtown Cooper. <br /> The project will also install a tourist information kiosk and a historical marker <br /> commemorating the City's original water well dating from around 1899. The project has been <br /> funded, and preliminary design coordination with TxDOT has begun. Mike Donnan, P.E., <br /> is serving as project manager for this $125,000 project. <br /> Commerce Monroe Street Improvements -- This $900,000 project includes water and sewer <br /> replacements, paving, curb and sidewalk replacements and 21" through 36" storm sewer for <br /> about 8 blocks of Monroe Street along the east edge of the Texas A&M-Commerce campus. <br /> Telephone utilities are being relocated underground, and TXU overhead facilities are being <br /> consolidated to make room for handicap accessible sidewalks and ramps. Coordination with <br /> TxDOT was required in various intersections along the project route. Construction is now <br /> 50-60% complete. David Beard, P.E., is serving as project manager for this project. <br /> <br />Reeves Hayter, P.E., President, will be the principal-in-charge for the project. Mr. Hayter has some <br />28 years experience in surveying, consulting, planning, design, testing, construction review, <br />operations and environmental reviews for a broad cross-section of civil works. <br /> <br />David Beard, P.E., will be the project manager for the project, and will provide the engineering <br />design. Mr. Beard has some 7 years experience in consulting, planning, design, and construction <br />review for a wide range of civil works; including specifically the Bonham and Commerce projects <br />cited above. <br /> <br />Kenneth Jones, P.E., R.P.L.S., will coordinate the surveying for the project. Mr. Jones has over 42 <br />years engineering experience in transportation planning, design, construction, and surveying. <br /> <br />Alan Vanderburg, P.E., will provide the electrical engineering design for the historic lighting. Mr. <br />Vanderburg has about 14 year experience in engineering design and project management in various <br />electrical, mechanical, and civil projects. Specific experience include the historic lighting design for <br />the Bonham Central Business District Improvements project cited above. <br /> <br />The proposal package which follows this letter includes resumes of each primary team member, <br />reference contacts, and a list of past projects by client. <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />
