Phase II - Scope of Work - Asbestos Abatement Irerracon <br />Grand Theatreâ–  21 Lamar Avenue, Paris, Texas <br />June 4, 2012 â– Terracon Project No. 94107645 <br />with emphasis on operation of fire extinguishers and emergency exits in case of fire. <br />CONTRACTOR shall have posted emergency phone numbers for the fire department <br />and police. <br />CONTRACTOR shall store a minimum of volatile substances on the job site and in fire <br />resistant containers only. <br />6.0 PRODUCTS <br />Amended Water: Provide water to which a surfactant has been added. Use a mixture of <br />surfactant and water which results in wetting of the ACM and retardation of fiber release <br />during disturbance of the material. <br />Disposal Bags: Provide as a minimum, individual, 6 mil thick, leak-tight, manufactured <br />polyethylene bags. <br />Disposal Baq Labels: Provide labels with OWNER'S name, CONTRACTOR'S name, <br />project site address and the following warnings and labels, in accordance with regulatory <br />requirements. Labels shall be lettered with indelible ink. <br />First Label: <br />CAUTION <br />CONTAINS ASBESTOS FIBERS <br />AVOID OPENING OR BREAKING CONTAINER <br />BREATHING ASBESTOS IS HAZARDOUS TO YOUR HEALTH <br />Second Label: Provide in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.1200(o of OSHA's Hazard <br />Communication standard: <br />DANGER <br />CONTAINS ASBESTOS FIBERS <br />AVOID CREATING DUST <br />CANCER AND LUNG DISEASE HAZARD <br />BREATHING AIRBORNE ASBESTOS, TREMOLITE, ANTHOPHYLLITE, OR <br />ACTINOLITE FIBERS IS HAZARDOUS TO YOUR HEALTH <br />Third Label: Provide in accordance with U.S. Department of Transportation Regulation <br />on hazardous waste marking. 49 CFR parts 171 and 172.
