1816 ORD PROVIDING FOR EXTENSION OF CERTAIN BOUNDARY LIMITS OF COP

Section 1„ The following described land and territory lying adjacent to and adjoining the City of Paris., Texas, is hereby added and annexed to the City of Paris, Texas, and said territory hereinafter described sha11, hereafter be in- cluded within the boundary limits of the City of Paris, Texas, and the present boundary limits of said city, at the varmus points contiguous to the area herein- after describedp are altered and amended so as to include said area within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, to-wit: 5ituated in the County of Lamar and State of Texas, and located South and East from the present City Limit Lines of the City of Paris, and described as follows: Beginning at the present most South Eastern Limits of the City of Paris9 at a point which is Iocated in the W est Line of what would be an extension of 6th Street, S. E. ; Thence East and parallel to the proposed Loop Highway 286, at a distance of 600 feet from the center line of the outer loop of said highway; Thence in an Eastern and Northerly direction to the W. B. Line of F. M. Highway 1507; Thence North with the W. B. Line of F. M. Highway 1507 to the South edge of the outer loop of proposed Loop Highway 286 South East; Thence in a Northerly and Easterly direction with the S. B. Line of said outer loop of said highway to a point 600 feet East of the E. B. Line of F. M. Highway 905 to a point; Thence North and in an Easterly direction to a point 600 feet North East of the center line of U. S. Highway 271; Thence North and West and parallel with U.S. Highway 271 to the present E. B. Line of the Eastern City Limits of the City of Paris. Section 2. The above described territory and area so annexed shall be a part of the City of Paris, Texas, and the property so added hereby shall bear its pro rata part of the taxes levied by the City of Paris? Texas, and the inhabitants thereof shall be entitled to alI of the rights and privileges of all the citizens and shall be bound by the acts, ordinances, reso].utions, and regulations of the City of Paris, Texas. That the above property shall be annexed under the zoning classification of Agricultural as is provided for under Zoning Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Texas.
