1827 ORD PROVIDING FOR EXTENSION OF CERTAIN BOUNDARY LIMITS OF COP

WHEREAS, the above described territory contains less than ten per cent (107o) of the present acreage contained in the corporate limits of the City of Paris, Texas; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXA S : Section 1. The following described land and territory lying adjacent to and actjoining the City of Paris, Texas, is hereby added and annexed to the City of Paris, Texas, and said territory herew inafter descxibed shall hereafter be included within the boundary limits of the City of Paris, Texas, and the present boundary limits of said city, at the various points contiguous to the area herein- after described, are altered and amended so as to include said area within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, to.-wit: Situated in the County of Lamar and State of Texas, and being a part of the Redding Russell Survey, and being described as follows: Beginning at a pcht where the South East Corner of property belonging to the John Kraft Sesame Corporation intersects the North Boundary Line of West Center Street, in the City of Paris, Texas; Thence North with the E.B. Line of to its North East Corner; Thence West with the N.B. Line of to the E.B. Line of property belonging San Francisco Railway Company; Thence North with the E.B. Line of of Way to where the same intersects th Line of Highway Loop 286; the Sesame property said Sesame property to the St. Louis- said Railway Right North Boundary Thence West with the North Boundary Line of Highway Loop 286 to the West Boundary Line of the St. Louis-San Francisco Railway Company Right of Way; Thence South with the same to the North East Corner of a tract belonging to Champion Packages Company; Thence West with the N.B. Line of the Champion Packages Company to its North West Corner; Thence South to the North Boundary Line of West Center Street; Thence East with the N.B. Line of West Center Street to the place of beginning. Section 2. The above described territory and area so annexed shall be a part of the City of Paris, Texas, and the pro- perty so added hereby shall beax its pro rata part of the taxes levied by the City of Paris, Texas, and the inhabitants thereof shall be entitled to all of the rights and privileges of all the citizens and shall be bound by the acts, ordinances, resolutions, and regulations of the City of Paris, Texas. That the above property shall be annexed under the zoning classific ation of Light Industrial as is provided for under Zoning Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Texas.
