ORDINANCE NO. 1854 <br />AN pRDINANCE SETTING MINIMUM STANDARDS FOR COMMERCIAL AERONAUTIGA.L <br />ACTIVITIES ON CQX FIELD, DEFINING TERMS USED THEREIN, AND ESTABLISH- <br />ING THE POLICY OF THE CITY OF PARIS IN REGARD TO AERONAUTICAL ACTIM <br />VITIES TO BE CONDUCTED ON COX FIELD; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE; AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CON- <br />FLICT HEREtnTITH. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL C7F THE CITY OF PARIS: <br />Section l. DEFINITIONS, <br />a. MINIMUM STANDARDS - The qualifications established by <br />the City of P'aris are the minimum requirements to be <br />met as a condition for the right to conduct an aero•- <br />nautical activity on Cox Field, <br />b. AERONAUTICAL ACTIVITY The following activities, <br />commonly conducted on airports, are aeronautical ac- <br />tivities within this definition, such as: charter <br />operations, air taxi, pilot training, aircraft rental <br />and sightseeing, aerial photography, crop dusting, <br />aerial advertising and surveying, aircraft sales and <br />services, sale of aviation petroleum products, repair <br />and maintenance of aircraft, and any other activities, <br />which because of their direct relationship to the opera» <br />tion of aircraft, may appropriately be regarded as an <br />"aeronautical activity." The City of Paris requires, <br />in regard for the privilege of conducting an aeronauti.» <br />cal activity on Cox Field, that the person, firm or <br />corporation selected must meet the standards established <br />by the City of P'aris governing the quality and level of <br />services that are offexed to the public in connection <br />with the conduct of a particular aeronautical activity <br />on the airport. These standards will be reasonable, <br />relevant to the proposed activity, and applied objec» <br />tively and uniformly. <br />c. FUEL AND OIE. SALES. <br />1. Operator must provide suitable space in a conven- <br />ient location to service the types of aircraft <br />using the airport. <br />2. Operator must provide tank storage capacity, either <br />above or below the ground as mutually agreed upon, <br />for the following minimum capacity storage of both <br />jet fuel and gasoline. <br />Gasoline 100/130 octane 2,000 gallon tank <br />Gasoline 80/87 octane 1,000 gallon tank <br />Jet Fuel 3,000 gallon tank <br />3. Operator must provide fixed pumping equipment with <br />reliable metering devices, and of sufficient capa•- <br />city to refuel the largest aircraft likely to be <br />serviced within a specified maximum time. <br />
