<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE GITY OF PARIS:
<br />ARTICLE I - DEFINITIONS
<br />1. Garbage is hereby defined as waste from the preparation, cooking and
<br />serving of food, market refuse and waste from the handling, storage -
<br />and sale of produce, paper, cartons, bedding, contents from litter re-
<br />ceptacles, shavings, small lumber scraps and common trash from
<br />households and offices, and all items or materials of like character
<br />and kind.

<br />2. Rubbish is herein divided intoelassifications.
<br />Non-Combustible Rubbish is hereby defined as metals, tin cans, metal
<br />furniture, dirt, glass, crockery, ashes, leaves, street sweepings,
<br />catch basin dirt, abandoned automobiles and parts, excelsior and other
<br />mineral refuse, and all items or materials of like character andkind.
<br />Combustible Rubbish is hereby defined as wooden boxes, barrels, wood,
<br />trees, tree branches, hedges, wooden furniture, combustible building
<br />materials and lumber, and all items or materials of like character and
<br />kind.
<br />3. Dead Animals shall be such animals as cats, dogs, horses, cow:s, sheep,
<br />goats, or fowls, and a11 others of like nature, which waste require
<br />burial separate and apart from either garbage or rubbish.
<br />4. Indust'rial waste is hereby defined as either liquid or solid waste result-
<br />ing from industrial processing and manufacturing operations, such as
<br />wholesale food processing, poultry processing, and Stlaughterhouse
<br />operations, and other items of like kind and character, which waste
<br />require burial separate and apart from either garbage or rubbish.

<br />Section 1. There is hereby fixed a fee of ten cents (10~) per cubic yard
<br />for all garbage or rubbish, as the same are defined herein, delivered to the
<br />Sanitary Land Fill by any person hauling or delivering same for hire.
<br />Section Z. That each person, firm or corporation, whether hauling for
<br />hire or hauling their own products to the Sanitary Land Fill, and delivering
<br />any industrial solid or liquid waste, as the same is defined herein, or any
<br />animals or fowls, large or smal.l, as defined, herein, shall contract with
