1787 ORD PROVIDING EXTENSION OF CERTAIN BOUNDARY LIMITS OF COP

Section 1. The following described land and territory lying adjacent to and adjoining the City of Paris, Texas, is hereby added and annexed to the City of Paris, Texass and said territory hereinafter described sha1l hereafter be in- cluded within the boundary lim:.ts of the City of Paris, Texas, and the present boundary lim4.ts of said citys at the various points contiguous to the area here- inafter described, are altered and amended so as to include said area within the corpz)rate limits of the City of Paris, to-wit: Situated in the County of Lamar and State of Texas, and being a part of the I. Cruise Survey, and being located on the East Side of the Gordon Country Club Road and North of the Old Bonham Road, and described as follows: Begin:-ing at a point in the E. B. Line of the Gordon Lake Roadt which point is approximately 1140 feet South of the South Boundary Line of U.S. Highway 82 West, said point being the Southern inter- section of the present City Limit Line with the E. B. Line of the Gordon Lake Road; Thence South with the E. B. Li.ne of the Gordon Lake Roads approximately 1972 feet to the intersection of the E. B. Line of the Gordon Lake Road and the N, B, Line of the Old Bonham Road; Thence East with the North Boundary Lime of the Old Bonham Road approximately 690 feet to the present City Limi.t La.ne. Section 2. The above described territory and area so annexed shall be a part of the City of Paris$ Texas, and the property so added hereby shall bear its pro rata part of the taxes levied by the City of Paris, Texas9 and the in- habitants thereof shall be entitled to alX of the rights and privileges of all the citizens and sha11 be bound by the acts, ordinances, resolutions, and regulations of the City of Paris, Texas. That the above property shall be annexed under the zoning classification of Agricultural as is provided for under Zoning rJrdinance ND. 1710 of the City of Paris, Texas.
