BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OFPARIS:
<br />Section 1. That the structures at 6139 619, and 625 5th Street, S. E. ,
<br />belonging to J. M. Hix., and the structure at 614 5th Street, S. E. , belonging
<br />to Mrs. Mattie Dancer, be torn down, and the rubbish removed from the pre-
<br />mises. That the structures located at 636 and 634 5th Street S. E., at the time
<br />of the resolution of the City Council referring the same to the Building Hazard-
<br />Inspection Committee, have been torn down, and the rubbish., scraps and lum-
<br />ber still remain stacked on the premises and as such the same constitute a
<br />nuisance. That the buildings aforesaid and the lumber and other materials are
<br />dangerous to life and property., and that the same constitute a fire hazard to
<br />life and property, and that the same are hereby declared a nuisance. That the
<br />ownera J. M. Hix, is hereby ordered and directed to remove said lumber,
<br />timber, rubbish, and otheritems, which remain of the razed structures, from
<br />the premises, and thereby abate such nuisance, within thirty (30) days from the
<br />date hereof. That the owner, J. M. Hix, is hereby ordered and directed that
<br />the structures located at 613, 619 and 625 5th Street, S. E., be removed from
<br />the premises and thereby abate such nuisance, within thirty (30) days from the
<br />date hereof. That the owner, Mrs. Mattie Dancer,, of the property lo cated at
<br />614 5th Street, S. E., is hereby ordered and directed to tear down and remove
<br />from the premises the rubbish and remains of the structure located thereon,
<br />in order to abate such nuisance, within thirty (30) days from the date hereof.
<br />Section 2. The City Manager is directed to furnish the owner, J. M.
<br />Hi.x, and the owner, Mrs. Mattie Dancer, a copy of this ordinance. That in
<br />the event the owner, J. M. Hix, refuses to comply with this order., the City
<br />Attorney, Ben F. Mooring, is hereby directed to proceed to enforce this or-
<br />dinance by injunction in the District Court of Lamar County' Texas, as pro -
<br />vided for in Ordinance No. 1470. That in the event the owner, Mrs. Maltie
<br />Dancer, refuses to comply with this order.~ the City Attorney, Ben F. Mooring,
<br />is hereby directed to proceed to enforce this ordinance by injunction in the
<br />District Court of Lamar County.~ Texas,, as provided for in Ordinance No. 1470.
