1490 ORD DECLARING NECESSITY FOR AND ORDERING IMPROVEMENT OF CERTAIN STREETS AND PORTIONS THEREOF

be assessed against the respective abutting properties and the real and true owners thereof, in accordance with the statutes of Texas and the Charter of the City of Paris herein referred to. When the improvements herein ordered for the street designa.ted above, and the portions thereof, ha.ve been completed and accepted by the City of Paris, the amount of the assessment against each property abutting thereon, and the real and true owner thereof, shall be and become payable in five equal annual insta.llments, due re- spectively thirty da.ys after one (1), two (2), three (3), four (4), and five (5) years from the date, of acceptance by the City of Paris, together with interest on each installment from said date at the rate of six per cent (6%) per annum, payable annually; provided, however tha.t the owners of any of said properties shall have thL- privilege of paying aIl or any of said installments at any time before m.aturity thereof by paying the tota.l amount of the principal of such insta.llments, together with the interest accrued thereon, to the date of payment. Further, if defa.ult is made in the payment of any of said insta.llments of principal or interest, promptly as the same ma.ture, then at the option of the City of Pa.ris, the entire amount, together with reasonable attorney's fees and all collection costs incurred, sha.ll be and become immedia.tely due and payable. Section 6. The Gity Clerk is hereby directed to cause to be prepared a notice of the enactment of this ordinance and to file said notice among the Mortgage or Deed of Trust Records of said Countyo Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Paris, in regula.r session convened, this 14th da.y of September, A.
