be assessed against the respective abutting properties <br />and the real and true owners thereof, in accordance with <br />the statutes of Texas and the Charter of the City of Paris <br />herein referred to. When the improvements herein ordered <br />for the street designa.ted above, and the portions thereof, <br />ha.ve been completed and accepted by the City of Paris, the <br />amount of the assessment against each property abutting <br />thereon, and the real and true owner thereof, shall be and <br />become payable in five equal annual insta.llments, due re- <br />spectively thirty da.ys after one (1), two (2), three (3), four <br />(4), and five (5) years from the date, of acceptance by the <br />City of Paris, together with interest on each installment from <br />said date at the rate of six per cent (6%) per annum, payable <br />annually; provided, however tha.t the owners of any of said <br />properties shall have thL- privilege of paying aIl or any of <br />said installments at any time before m.aturity thereof by <br />paying the tota.l amount of the principal of such insta.llments, <br />together with the interest accrued thereon, to the date of <br />payment. Further, if defa.ult is made in the payment of any <br />of said insta.llments of principal or interest, promptly as the <br />same ma.ture, then at the option of the City of Pa.ris, the <br />entire amount, together with reasonable attorney's fees and <br />all collection costs incurred, sha.ll be and become immedia.tely <br />due and payable. <br />Section 6. The Gity Clerk is hereby directed to cause to be prepared <br />a notice of the enactment of this ordinance and to file said notice among <br />the Mortgage or Deed of Trust Records of said Countyo <br />Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Paris, in <br />regula.r session convened, this 14th da.y of September, A.
