1498 ORD ANNEXING, ADMITTING AND INCORPORATING ADDITIONAL TERRITORY IN LAMAR COUNTY

The inhabita.nts within said annexed territories are and sha,ll here.. after be entitled to enjoy all the rights, privileges and immunities of citizens of the City of Paris, and all laws, ordinances, rules, resolutions, acts, and regulations of said City now in force in said City of Paris and tha.t ma.y hereafter be passed, shall be and are in full force and effect in said territories hereby annexed and admitted. Section 2. That the present boundaries of Ward Three of the City of Paris be, and the same are hereby extended so as to embrace and in- clude within said Ward Three all of said property described above as Tract 1, and the same is hereby incorporated in said Ward Three of the City of Paris. Section 3a Tha.t the present boundaries of Ward Four of the City of Paris be, and the same are hereby extended so as to embrace and include within said Ward Four all of said property described above as Tract 2, and the same is hereby incorporated in said Ward Four of the City of Paris. Section 4. The City Engineer is hereby instructed to make a cam.. plete survey of the above described territories and to ma.rk the boundaries thereof by proper monuments; and to survey, estaliish and open, under the direction of the City Ma.na.ger, all streets, roads, alleys and ways in said territories dedicated to public use; and to ma,ke and file with the City Clerk a complete map of said newly annexed territories showing alI property lines, lots, and tracts herein, together with the names of the owners of same, and all streets, alleys, roads and ways dedicated to public use; and to imme-. diately correct the ma.p of the City of Paris so as to add thereto, the addi- tiona,l territories described herein, indiacating an s.uch map the date of annexa.tion, the numberof the ordinances and reference to the minutes or ordinance records of the City of Paris where such instrument is recorded in full. Section 5. The City Tax Assessor and Collector of Taares of the City of Pa.ris is hereby directed to list all lots, tracts and property situated in said annexed territories on the tax rolls of the City of Paris andhereafter to assess same for ta.xes in accordance with law. Section 6. All of the above two tracts are annexed in the coxporate limits of the City of Paris in the zoning cla.ssification of "G" Gommercial described in Ordina,nce No. 1409. Section 7. This ordinance shall become effective upon final passage. Introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council on the I2th day of October A. D., 1959. Passed on first reading on October 12, 1959; passed on second reading on November 9, 1959; and passed on final reading on December 14, 1959.
