City Council Meeting <br />May 14, 2001 <br />Page 12 <br /> <br />resolution. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2001-061, resolving that the regular Thursday meeting of the <br />City Council scheduled for June 7, 2001, be, and the same is hereby <br />consolidated with the regular Monday meeting of the City Council scheduled <br />for June 11,2001, at 6:00 o'clock p.m., was presented. A motion was made by <br />Councilman Plata, seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Manning, for approval of the <br />resolution. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2001-062, authorizing the submission of a Texas Home <br />Investment Partnership Program application to the Texas Department of <br />Housing and Community Affairs for the Owner Occupied Assistance Fund, that <br />the application be for $187,500.00 of grant funds to carry out this down <br />payment, closing costs, and gap finance program, was presented. A motion was <br />made by Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Councilman Plata, for approval <br />of the resolution. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2001-063, accepting the donation of one portable building from <br />the Paris Independent School District for use by the Paris Police Department, <br />and approving the form of the Interlocal Agreement with the Paris Independent <br />School District for the acceptance by the City of Paris of said portable building, <br />was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Bell for approval of the <br />resolution. The motion was seconded by Councilman Gray, and carried 6 ayes, <br />0 nays. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2001-064, approving the grounds sublease between the Red <br />River Valley Fair Association and the Hopewell Volunteer Fire Department, and <br />the Mayor of the City of Paris is hereby authorized and directed to acknowledge <br />approval of said grounds sublease agreement by signing the same, was <br />presented. A motion was made by Councilman Bell, seconded by Mayor Pro <br />Tem Manning, for approval of the resolution. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 <br />nays. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2001-065, approving the grounds sublease between the Red <br />River Valley Fair Association and the American Legion Post # 199 of Deport, <br /> <br /> <br />
