The motion carried 6 <br />ayes, 0 nays. <br /> <br />City Manager Malone called for consideration of and action on a resolution <br />authorizing the publication of notice and the acceptance of competitive bids for <br />the construction of the Wade Park, Lamar Avenue, and 24th Street SE Drainage <br />Improvement Project. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Councilman Bell, seconded by Councilman Plata, to <br />table action on the resolution authorizing the publication of notice and the <br />acceptance of competitive bids for the construction of the Wade Park, Lamar <br />Avenue, and 24th Street SE Drainage Improvement Project. The motion carried <br />6 ayes, 0 nays. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2001-032 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE <br />CITY OF PARIS BE AMENDED BY REVISING SECTION 12-1 OF SAID <br />CODE; PROVIDING FOR EXPANSION OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT; <br />REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN <br />CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF <br />MAY 14, 2001, WAS PRESENTED. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Councilman Bell, seconded by Mayor Pro Tem <br />Manning, for adoption of the ordinance.
