5 <br />A Journeyman Electrician to qua7_ify for an examina.tion before the <br />Electrical Board must prove that he has had four years actual experience as <br />an apprentice. <br />In event any applicant fails to pass the examination given by the Board, <br />he sha11 be entitled to a second exarnination after the expiration of Thirty <br />(30) days, and should he fail on the second examination, a third exaraination <br />shall not be had until the expiration of Two (2) Months from the date of the <br />last examinationo ' <br />The Inspe ctor shall be empowered to is sue a temporary permit to a <br />Journeyman Electrician upon the payment of Ten ($10.00) Dollars fee and said <br />permit shall be good until the first meeting of the Board. <br />Nothing in this Section shall be construed to prohibit the employinent of <br />apprentices or helpers working under the supe rvision of a registered <br />Ele ct ric ian, <br />Section llo Susp.etmi.on< of Registration and License. Upon presentation t,o <br />F~~ r. <br />the Director of Public Worksftthaholder of any license or certificate of <br />registration issued under this ordinance has willful.ly or consistently violated <br />any provision of this ordinance or is incompetent to comply with such provisions, <br />or that such holder has been found guilty of violating such ordinance, the <br />Director of Public Works shall fix a time and place for a meeting of the <br />Electrical Board to consider such charges and shall notify such holder of sudl <br />certificate or license to be present at such meeting. Such notification shall <br />be in writing and shall be delivered to such holder at least five days prior to <br />such meeting. Upon hearing such charge the Electrical Board sha.ll, by written <br />opinion, determine ubether or not such charges are justified, and in the event <br />of an affirrnative finding the certificate of registration or license of such <br />holder, as the case may be, shall by said Board be revoked or suspended for a <br />period of not less than thirty days and not more than two years. <br />Section 12. Existing Licensesand Certificates of ftegistration. Any <br />current license held by an electrical contractor or certificate of registration <br />held by Journeyman electrician under the provisions of existing ordinances of <br />the City of Paris, shall remain valid until the expiration of the same under such <br />existing ordinance, but any application for renewal or renewal there#~ shall be <br />subject to all the terms and provisions of this ordinancea <br />
