- _ ~ ~ <br />4 <br />(70) per cent on the examination given by the Board before being erititled <br />to receive a license. Before a license shall be granted to an applicant, a <br />fee of Fifty ($50•00) Dollars sha.ll be paid to the ~'ity of Paris, Texas, and <br />the applicant shall execute and deliver to the City , for approval, <br />a Bond in the sum of Five Hundred ($500.00) DoZlars, having as surety thereon <br />a reeognized surety company authorized to do business in this State, said Bond <br />to be conditioned for the faithflzl performance of all wark entered upon or con- <br />tracted for, in strict accordance with the terms and requirements of this <br />Ordinance. Such License when issued, shall entitle the holder thereof to en- <br />gage in the busiress of Electrical Contractor for a period-of One (1) year fran <br />the date of issuance, unless sooner revnked, and may be renewed by the holder <br />upon pa.yment of an annual renewal fee of Fifty ($50.00) Dollars and a renewal <br />of th e Borxi required herein. <br />No license issued in accordance with the provis io ns of th is Ordinance <br />shall be transferable. Any holder of a license who shall permit or allow same <br />to be use d by an9 other pa rty to obtain a perm it to cb ele etrical uorc as <br />spe cifie d in this Ordinance, shall be sub3ect to having such license revoked by <br />the Dire ctor of Public Works. <br />Section 10. Jaurneyman Electrician: Regist ration recuired. The term <br />"Journeyman Electrician" as used in this Ordinance is defined to mean and in- <br />clude any person who works Por or urxier the supervision of an Electrical Con- <br />+ <br />tractor 4ad~-'installing or repairing electrical wiring, devices and equiFment. <br />All Jouz•neymen Electricians before being pennitted to do any electrical work in <br />the City of Paris, Texas, shall make application to the Electrical Inspectar <br />for regist ration as Jaurneymen Electricians. Such Applicants shall be recgzired <br />to appear before the Electrical Boa.rd and take an e.xamination as to his ex- <br />perience and ability to do electrical work in accordance with the provisions of <br />this ordinance. An applicant shall be required to rrake a grade of seventy (70) <br />per cent or better, before he sha11 be~fentitled to registration as a Jaurneyman <br />Electrician. The Board shall issue to every applicant that passes a <br />~ <br />satisPactory examination, a Certificate of Registrationglupon payment of a ~ <br />registration fee of Ten ($10.00) Dollars. Such Certificate of Registration shall <br />be renewed by the holder thereof upon payment of an annual renewal registration <br />fee of Ten ($10.00) Dollars. <br />
