ASk Alk <br />N 0 T I C E <br />TO ALL PERSONS OWNING OR CLAIMING TITLE TO ANY PROPERTY ABUTTING UPON THE <br />HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED PORTION OF WEST WASHINGTON STREET AND PORTIONS OF SUNDRY <br />'OTHER 5TREETS IN THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, AND TO ALL PERSQNS OWNING OR <br />CLAIMING ANY INTEREST IN ANY SUCH PROPERTY: <br />The Governing Body of the City of Paris, Texas, has ordered that the <br />hereinbelow described and designated portions of streets in the City of Paris, <br />Texas, be improved by cutting and filling the same so as to bring the same to <br />grade, paved from curb to curb with 6-inch soil asphalt base and single <br />asphaltic surface treatment, together with concrete curbs and gutters, curb <br />returns and sewer drop in-lets along both sides of such streets; all of said <br />improvements are to be constructed as and where shown on the plans and in <br />strict accordance with the plans and specifications therefor now on file with <br />the City; the Governing Body of the City of Paris has further provided and <br />ordered that the City of Paris shall furnish and provide all required labor and <br />materials for the filling and grading of such streets, as wel:i as the full cost <br />of paving the same, as specified above, together with the full cost of the con- <br />struction of all sewer drop in-lets, drains and curb returnsv and has further <br />provided that the abutting properties and the owners thereof shall be assessed <br />for the full cost af the construction of the curb and gutter on both sides of <br />such streets in accordance with what is known as the-Ilfront-foot plan", in pro- <br />portion as the frontage of the respective properties A to the 4vhole frontage <br />improvement; and contract for the construction of such sewer drop in-lets, <br />drains, curb returns, and curb and gutter sections was made and entered into <br />with J. F. Huddleston & Son, a concrete contracting firrn for the making and <br />construction of such improvements. Estimate of the cost of such improvements <br />for each said portion of said street has been prepared. <br />The portions of said streets so to be improved under such contract, <br />together with the estimated cost of such improvements for each said portion of <br />street and the amount per front foot proposed to be assessed against the <br />abutting properties and the owners theore on each such portion of street are <br />as follows: <br />UNIT ND. 1: On West Washington Street from the 'vJest boundary line of <br />7th Street Southwest, west to a point 780 feet west of such West boundary line <br />' of 7th Street Southwest, which is designated as Unit No. 1. The Estimated cost <br />of such improvements id $1,185.00v and the estimated amount per front foot to <br />be assessed against abutting property and the owners thereof is $1.50. <br />UNI,T N0. 2: On Fitzhugh Avenue between Hickory Street and Blake Road, <br />which is designated as Unit No. 2: The estimated cost of such improvements is <br />$1,691.50, and the estimated amount per front foot to be assessed against <br />abutting property and the owners thereof is $1.50. <br />UNII 1V0. 3: On 8th Street Northeast between Hickory Street and Blake <br />Roadt known and designated as Unit No. 3: the estimated cost of the improve- <br />ments is $1,055.00, and the estimated amount per front foot to be assessed <br />against abutting property and the owners thereof is $1.50. <br />UNIT N0. 4s On Blake Road from its intersection with Fitzhugh Avenue, <br />west a distance of 444 feet; the estimated cost of the improvements is <br />$1,111.50, and the estimated cost or amount per front foot to be assessed <br />against abutting property and the owners thereof is $1.50. <br />UNIT N0. 5: On Hickory Street from its intersection with Fitzhugh <br />Avenue, west to its intersection with 8th Street Northeast: the estimated cost <br />of the improvementsis $525.00, and the estimated amount per front foot to be <br />assessed against abutting property and the owners thereof is $1.50. <br />
