Dogs that have been vaccinated or inoculated during the carrent year need not be vaccinated cr inoculated again during the current yea`r. A11 dogs not heretofore vacci'h6ted or iaoculated snall be vaccinated or inoculated xrithin twenty (20) days of the effec- tive date of this ordinance. 2. The term dog as used herein includes both the male and the fenale species. 3. Hereafter it shall be unlat+rful Por any dog not vaecinated or inoculated and wearing the tag herein provided for to run at large wit"hin the limits of the i:ity Qf Paris. Dogs sha11 be con- , sidered at large within the meaning of this ordinance if not con- fined upon the premises of tne owner, keeper or custodian thereof within a substantial enclosure sufficient to prevent escape, or under control uuon the premises of tue owner, keeper or eustodian t hereoY', or se curely fastened by chain on the premi ses of t he owner, keeper or custodian thereof, or securely confined by leash when off the premises of the owner. 4. 2'lle City Health Officer shall prescribe for the vacci- nation or inoculation oY all dogs within the limits of the City of paris against the disease k4own as nydrophobia or rabies and such preseription shall be available to all veterinarians.
