Planning and Zoning Meeting <br />July 3,2001 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br /> <br />Tom Wagnon, Rt. 2, Box 800, Paris, President of Ham & T, Inc., spoke <br />in favor of the petition stating that he would like to build an office with <br />secured parking to protect service trucks from vandalism. NEATO <br />Internet Service thinks that this construction would increase the value <br />of the property and beautify the block. Mr. Wagnon presented a photo <br />of what the building would look like and stated that the building would <br />increase the value of the property. <br /> <br />There was no opposition, the public hearing was declared closed. <br /> <br />Consideration of and action on the petition of Ham and T, Inc., A Texas <br />Corporation for a change in zoning from a Two-Family Dwelling <br />District (2F) to a Neighborhood Service District (NS), Lot 4, City Block <br />33, being number 1331 E. Price. <br /> <br />Motion was made to approve by Bobby Myers and seconded by Louis <br />Yates. Motion carried by a vote of 6 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Vincent Battles and seconded by Bobby Myers for <br />Curtis Fendley to return to the meeting. Motion carried by a vote of 6 <br />ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />Public Hearing to consider the petition of Al Turinsky for a change in <br />zoning from a One-Family Dwelling District No. 2 (SF-2), to a One- <br />Family Dwelling District No. 3 (SF-3) With Specific Use Permit (39) <br />Mobile Homes, Lots 1 thru 8, Block 11, Westside Addition, being the <br />2000 Block of W. Cherry and W. Plum Streets. <br /> <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br /> <br />Al Turinsky, 3626 High Point, Rockwall, Texas spoke in favor of the <br />petition stating that he purchased the property 6 months ago and ran <br /> <br /> <br />
