<br />ready exist, said sidewalks shall be built six feet wide and shall be
<br />constructed and be made of brick, stone, concrete or wood, if
<br />wood is used the lumber must be not less than two inches thick
<br />and not more than four inches broad, and shall be securely
<br />fastened to a good and substantial foundation, and of whatever
<br />material it may be built said sidewalks shall in all respects con-
<br />form to the ordinances now in force regulating the building of
<br />sidewalks. All such sidewalks shall be built under the supervis-
<br />ion of the city engineer and at the expense of the property owners
<br />fronting or abutting on said street between said points, and that the
<br />sidewàlks herein ordered to be built shall be commenced and com-
<br />pleted within the time required by an ordinance heretofore
<br />adopted, and that the required notice be given.
<br />SEC. 2. That this ordinance take effect and be in force from
<br />and after its passage.

<br />Paris, approved by the mayor on July 9, 1889, authorizing the

<br />
<br />ordained that the bonds executed and registered by the comptrol-
