Leaving Hitched. 5 <br /> NUMBER III. <br /> <br /> ANIMALS LEAVING HITCHED. <br /> AN ORDINANCE to prevent the leaving of teams hitched to vehicles or leaving animals <br /> loose in the City of Paris, and other like offenses. <br /> <br /> SECTION I. It shall be unlawful for any person to leave any <br /> horse, mule or like animal hitched to any car.riage, cart, wagon <br /> . dray or other vehicle, standing on the streets, the public square or <br /> any common of this city, provided this section shall not apply to <br /> persons nnhitching the traces of such horses, mules or like animal, <br /> or leaving some competent person in charge of tike same. Jkny <br /> person violating any of the provisions of this section shall be fined <br /> in any sum not exceeding twenty-five dollars. <br /> SEc. z. It shall be unlawful for any person to leave any <br /> horse, mule or other like animal saddled, unhitched or loose on <br /> the public streets, the public square, or any common in'this city, <br /> and on conviction thereof before the mayor's court shall be fined <br /> <br /> ~ in any sum not exceeding twenty-five dollars. <br /> SEc. 3' It shall be unlawful for any person to lead, ride.or <br /> drive any horse, mule or other like animal upon or over any side- <br /> walk within the corporate limits of this city, nor shall any person <br /> leave or hitch any such animal so that such animal can, from the <br /> place hitched or loose, get upou such sidewalk, nor shall any per- <br /> <br /> son hitch any such animal to any fence, railing, awning post, tele- <br /> graph or telephone pole, lamp post or shade tree on or adjoining <br /> any sidewalk within said city limits, and auy person violating an5' <br /> of the' provisions of this section shall on conviction thereof before <br /> the mayor's court be fined in any sum not exceeding twenty-five <br /> dollars. <br /> <br />
