Exhibit "A"
Small Services Contract
for provision of
Sewer Design Field Survey
for
Step II Design Froject #C-48-1248
The term "sewer design field survey" as used above, refers to the
collection and compiling of physical data, to establish the accurate
location of pertinent topographic features as well as other physical
features which.are required to correlate sewer design with actual field
conditions. The information collected may include but is not limited
to the following.
1) Topography, surface conditions, details of paving to be
disturbed, underground structures or other unusual obstruc-
tions, and insofar as possible soil conditions.
2) Details of existing utilities with which a proposed sewer may
connect or interfere.
3) Locations of streets, alleys, streams or other surface features.
A. The proposer will nrovide the followina, services:
1) Al1 elevations will be on USGS datum.
2) Third order temporary construction benchmarks on 1,500 + foot
intervals along proposed sewer lines.
3) Install h" 0 X 18" iron markers (or suitable substitute) with
flaciged guard stakes at angle points, points of line intersec-
tions, center lines of streets, roads, highways, and fences.
Record angles of intersections with same. Such markers to be
referenced located to at least two visible reference points.
4) Develop field data in connection with railroad and highway
crossinas.
5) 6Vhere requested by City, the Proposer will perform a complete
topographic survey for 25' each side of the sewer base line at
50 foot intervals and any mid points where the surface may have
sudden changes due to creeks, ditches, streets, railroads,
highways, etc. All ground elevations to be the nearest 0.10
foot.
6) Reference all sewer base lines where they cross existing.fences
by centerline station, distance to nearest cross fence or corner
marker and give angle of sewer base line with property line.
