It is agreed that is any patient dies while <br />enroute to any hospital, the ambulance driver shall deli_ver <br />the body of such deceased person to the nearest hospita.l, <br />unless otherwise directed by responsible parties, and remain <br />there until a medical examiner or licensed medical doctor <br />formaily pronounces the subject dead. City and County agree <br />that C;ity wi.11_ not be required to transport and cadavers <br />from any ho:>pital. <br />19. It is agreed that a11 calls tor ambulance service <br />that are received by County shall be referred to the CITY OF <br />FARIS AriBULANCE 6ERVICE operated by City. <br />20. 1n the event tliat the County desires continued <br />ambulance service beyond the end of this contract, being <br />5eptember 30, 1984, County sha11 give written notice to the <br />City on or befor.e June l, 1984, of its desire tor service <br />for an additional term, and upon receipt ot said notice on <br />or betore June 20, 1984, City will deliver to County the <br />rates and contract price upon which it will deliver service, <br />and thereafter on or before July l, 1984, County will <br />-5- <br />
