RESOLUTION N0. 2132 <br />4dHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did, <br />at its regular meeting on the 14th day of September, 1981, <br />approve the advertisement for bids for the sale of three <br />(3) tracts of property described as Tract I, Tract II, and <br />Tract III on Exhibit A attached hereto, which bids were <br />received until 10:00 0'clock A. M., Wednesday, December 9, <br />1981; and, <br />WHEREAS, the highest bid by responsible bidder for <br />Tract I was Cattlemen's Livestock Commission, Inc., in <br />the amount of $5,100.00; for Tract II was George Preston <br />in the amount of $7,600.00; and for Tract III was Robert <br />A. McDougal in the amount of $600.00; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL QF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, that the bid of Cattlemen's Livestock Commission, <br />Inc., in the amount of $5,100.00 for Tract I; of George <br />Preston in the amount of $7,600.00 for Tract II; and of <br />Robert A. McDougal in the amount of $600.00 for Tract III, <br />are hereby accepted and let; and, <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor of the City <br />of Paris, Billy Joe Burnett, be, and he is hereby author- <br />ized and directed to execute deeds on behalf of the City <br />of Paris to convey, surface only, the several tracts to <br />the above listed successful bidders, with the City of <br />Paris retaining all minerals. <br />Passed and adopted this 14th day of December, 1981. <br />ATTLST: <br />Bill e Burnett, Mayor <br />H. .
