2147 RES CITY COUNCIL AT ITS REGULAR MEETING ON 8TH DAY OF FEBRUARY 1982 APPOROVED ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

RESOLUTION N0. 2147 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris,did at its regular meeting on the 8th day of February, 1982, approved the advertisement for bids for furnishing all plant, labor, Material and equipment and performing all work required for the construction of approximately 7,882 Cubic Yards of channel excavation; 270 Linear Feet of 60 Inch reinforced concrete pipe; concrete for pipe headwalls, channel lining and pedestals; 312 Linear Feet of 8 Inch sewer line relocation; and miscellaneous items of re- lated work along a branch of Stillhouse Creek, in the vicinity of Johnson Park in the Northeastern section of Paris, Texas, entitled Johnson Park Drainage Project, which bids were received until 10:00 o'clock A. M„ Wednesday, March 3, 1982; and, WHEREAS, the best bid for such construction project was made bv David Buster, Inc., Route l, Paris, Texas 75460, and it should be awarded the contract for such construction; and, WHEREAS, the form of contract for such construction pro- ject is attached hereto as Exhibit A, and such form should be approved; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the bid of David Buster, Inc., for the Johnson Park Drainage Project in the amount of $73,920.00 is here- by accepted and let, conditioned upon said contractor meeting all of the terms and specifications included in the bid documents; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor of the City of Paris, Billy Joe Burnett, be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the City of Paris, the contract for the Johnson Park Drainage Project upon the terms and conditions and in the form shoLan in Exhibit 2, attached hereto with David Buster, Inc.
