RESOLUTION N0. 2197 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did <br />at its special meeting on the 19th day of July, 1982, approve <br />the advertisement for bids f or furnishing all plant, labor, <br />material and equipment and performing all work required for <br />the construction of 46.29 cubic yards of retaining wa11; <br />604 square yards of concrete channel liner; and 1,314 square <br />feet of 4 inch thick reinforced concrete driveway along <br />Buttermilk Creek, Paris, Texas, entitled Buttermilk Creek <br />Drainage Project, Phase III, which bids were received until <br />10:00 o'clock A.M., Thursday, August 5, 1982; and, <br />WHEREAS, the best bid for such construction project was <br />made by B& B Equipment Coripany, P 0 Box 517, Paris, Texas <br />75460, and it should be awarded the contract for such <br />construction; and, <br />WHEREAS, the form of contract for such constructio~n <br />project is attached hereto as Exhibit A, and such form <br />should be approved; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />that the bid of B& B Equipment Company, for the Buttermilk <br />Creek Drainage Project, Phase III, in the amount of $42,063.70 <br />is heYeby accented and Iet, conditioned upon said contractcr <br />r:ieeting all of the terms and s»ecifications included in the <br />bid documents; and, <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor of the City of <br />Paris, Joe Graham, be, and he is hereby authorized and <br />directed to execute, on behalf of the City of Paris, the <br />contract for the Buttermilk Creek Drainage Project, Phase III, <br />upon the terms and conditions and in the form shown in Exhibit <br />A attached hereto with B& B Equipment Company. <br />Passed and adopted this 9th day of August, 1982. <br />0"Jaml--/ <br />J e Graham, ayor <br />ATTEST: <br />H.
