(b) Public Liability and Property pama e <br />The Contractor's Public Liability,Insurance shall amount to <br />not less than $100,000.00 for injuries, including accidental <br />death, to any one person, and subject to the same limits for <br />each person, in an amount not less than $300,000.00 on account <br />of one accident, and contractor's property damage insurance <br />in an amount of not less than $500,000.00. <br />SC. 20 STATE ANU CTTY SAI,ES TAXES <br />The Cor.tractor's attEntion is directed to Amendment No. 7 to Sectian <br />6a, Article 20.01, Chapter 20, Title 122A Taxation-General of the <br />revised Civil Statutes of Texas. <br />This amendment provides that all items of materials used or consumed by <br />a contractar, whether incorporated into the project or not, can be <br />purchased free of State and City Sales Tax when the project is being <br />performed foz an exempt agency. Included are equipment rentals and <br />other items which are consumed by the contractor but are not incorporated <br />into the project. <br />This contract is issued by an Agency which qualifies for exemption <br />pursuant to the provisions of Article 20.04 (f) of the Texas Limited <br />Sales, Excise and Use Tax. <br />The contracfior performing this contract may purchase, rent, ar lease <br />all materials, supplies, and equipment used or consumed in lieu of the <br />Tax, said exemption certificate complying with State Camptroller's <br />Ruling # 95.0.07. Any such exemption certificate issued by the Con- <br />tractor in Iieu of the Tax shall be subject to the Provisions af the <br />State Comptroller's Ruling # 95.0.09 as amer.ded to be effective <br />October 2, 1968. <br />SC, 21 BARRICADES, LIGFiTS AND WATCHMEN <br />The Contractor shall, at his own expense, furnish and erect such <br />barricades, fences, lights, and danger signals, and provide watchn,en <br />when necessary, and other precautionary measures for the protection <br />of gersons or property, and of the work as are necessary. <br />SC. 22 WAGE RATE <br />All employees of the Contractor on the work to be performed under this <br />Contract shall be the minimum in compliance with the Civil Statutes <br />af The State af Texas and to conform with U.S. Department of Labor <br />E4iplayment Standards Administration, in accordance with provisions of <br />the Davis-Bacor.
