7. City agrees that it will ar:swer all emergency calls <br />within the limits of the City and County, and that no person <br />within the City ana county shall be refused emergency service, <br />and further agrees that transfer --mer-erLcy service whpn di_- <br />rected by a medical doctor wi11 not be refused, and agrees to <br />deliver patients ta McCuistian and St. Joseph Hospital in the <br />fallowing manner: <br />(a) To the hosgital that victim, his personal phy- <br />sician or next of kin so designate, ox <br />(b) To the nearest hospital irom. the accident site <br />of the victim when his personal physician or <br />next of kin canr_ot respo-id to the ambulance <br />di.rector"s inquiry. <br />8. City agrees that at alI times during the effeCtive <br />period of this contract to have nrocured and kept in force <br />and effect policy ar policies of public liability insurance <br />covering each mator vehicle operated under_ this contr_acL in <br />the minimum amounts of $100,000.00 for bodily injury or death <br />to any one persan and $300,000.00 for all persons injured in <br />any one accident or occasa,.on and $25,000.00 for property dam- <br />ages arising out of any ane accident or occasion. <br />9. City agrpes to furnish the Caunty Judge, Lamar County, <br />an annual operating stateme-tit relating to revenues, expenses, <br />call statistics, and the status o£ delinquent and uncollectable <br />accounts, and that all non-medical records of the services ren- <br />dered under this contract, and training and certification rec- <br />ords of all eMployees, be available far inspection and review <br />by such County Judge or his designated representati.ves, and to <br />furnish a monthly report in the 'LarM af Exhibit D attaehed <br />hereto. <br />10. City agrees to oDerate the ambulance operation in <br />accordance with the r.equirements of State law and applicable <br />
