materials installed by him and shall deliver over such materials <br />and equipment undamaged in a bright, clean, poZished and new <br />appearing condition. <br />SC. 19 Fxisting Utilities and Service Lines <br />The CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for the protection of all <br />existing utilities or service lines crossed or exposed by his <br />construction operations. Mhere existir.g utilities or service <br />lines are cut, broken or damaged, the COr'TRACTOR shall replace or <br />repair the utilities or service lines with the same type of <br />original material and construction, or better, at his oFm cost <br />and expense. <br />SC. 20 State Sales lax <br />The City of Paris requires that no State or Municipal Sales <br />Tax be paid on any materials incorporated into the completed <br />vrork. All bidders and si:bcontractors must comply with <br />Paragraph No. 3 of Ruling 9 issued by the Comptroller of Public <br />Accounts, State of Texas. <br />SC. 21 Wage Rates <br />All employees of the CODiRACTOR on the work to be performed <br />under this Contzac,t srall be the minimum allowed in compliance <br />with the civil status of the State of Texas and to conform with <br />the U.S. Department of Labor Employment Standards Administration, <br />in accordance with provisions of the Davis-Bacon Act. <br />Current wage rate will be issued as an addendum to the Proposal <br />and Specifications. <br />SC-5 <br />
