Fendley 105 votes; <br />David Philley 131 votes; <br />Write-In Candidates 0- votes. <br />(6) IN WARD SIX (6) A TOTAL OF 733 VOTES WERE CAST <br />FOR COUNCILMAN FROM WARD SIX 6) AS FOLLOWS: <br />Lloyd S. Sterling ' 54 votes; <br />Charles Cass votes; <br />Jeff L. Hoog votes; <br />James M. Brunette votes; <br />Jim Bell votes; <br />Write-In Candidates 1 votes. <br />(7) IN WARD SEVEN (7) A TOTAL OF 425 VOTES WERE CAST <br />FOR COUNCILMAN FROM WARD SEVEN (7) AS FOLLOWS: <br />Bill Jones 97 votes; <br />Freddy Swaim --T4F- votes; <br />Ed Pool 75 votes; <br />Betty Huddleston 64 votes; <br />O. L. Rainey lob- votes; <br />Write-In Candidates 9- votes. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That from the above and foregoing canvass <br />of the returns of the votes in the seven (7) respective voting boxes in <br />such election, it is declared and determined that George Fisher, Jr. <br />is the person receiving the highest number of votes of the votes cast <br />at such election for Councilman From Ward One (1), and is therefore <br />elected to serve as Councilman From Ward One (1) and as a member <br />of the City Council of the City of Paris for the ensuing two (2) years; <br />that Walter F. Williams is the person receiving the highest number <br />of votes of the votes cast at such election for Councilman From <br />Ward Two (2), and is therefore elected to serve as Councilman From <br />Ward Two (2) and as a member of the City Council of the City of <br />Paris for the ensuing two (2) years; that Jimmy Don Stone is the <br />person receiving the highest number of votes of the votes cast at <br />such election for Councilman From Ward Three (3), and is therefore <br />elected to serve as Councilman From Ward Three (3) and as a mem- <br />ber of the City Council of the City of Paris for the ensuing two (2) <br />years; that Ben M. Hinds is the person receiving the highest number <br />of votes of the votes cast at such election for Councilman From Ward <br />Four (4), and is therefore elected to serve as Councilman From <br />Ward Four (4) and as a member of the City Council of the City of <br />Paris for the ensuing one (1) year; that David Philley is the person <br />receiving the highest number of votes of the votes cast at such <br />election for Councilman From Ward Five (5), and is therefore <br />elected to serve as Councilman From Ward Five (5) and as a mem - <br />ber of the City Council of the City of Paris for the ensuing one (1) <br />year; that James M. Brunette is the person receiving the highest <br />number of votes of the votes cast at such election for Councilman <br />From Ward Six (6), and is therefore elected to serve as Councilman <br />From Ward Six (6) and as a member of the City Council of the City <br />of Paris for the ensuing two (2) years; and that O. L. Rainey is the <br />person receiving the highest number of votes of the votes cast at <br />such election for Councilman From Ward Seven (7), and is therefore <br />elected to serve as Councilman From Ward Seven (7) and as a mem- <br />ber of the City Council of the City of Paris for the ensuing one (1) <br />year. <br />
