immediately. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: Property owner has 60 days to repair broken <br />windows, plaster, and wood panels. <br />Motion was made by Johnny Norris, seconded by Chris Brown to follow <br />Robert Talley's recommendation for the property owner to repair the <br />broken windows, plaster, and wood panels within 60 days. Motion carried <br />unanimously. 7-0 <br />C. 357 W Kaufman Paris, Lot 1, City Block 118 <br />Owner: Iglesia Bautista El Calvrio Primera, 339 W Kaufman, Paris, TX 75460 <br />Robert Talley stated that he has had no contact with the property owner. Some of <br />the stain glass was stolen and is in police custody. Mrs. Sue Lancaster 1020 <br />Bonham Street, Paris, TX 75460 with HPC has been looking into this property. <br />This is a Historical property. The owners have not been found since 2008. The <br />City of Paris is currently mowing the property. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: 30 days to board up windows and doors of the <br />property, put a temporary fence around the property (if the permit department will <br />issue one) and place a plaque in the front yard of the property showing the <br />violations so the property owners might contact us so we can get them to sign the <br />building over to us. <br />Motion was made by Wendell Moore, seconded by Vicky Ballard to follow <br />Robert Talley's recommendation to board up the property, put temporary <br />fencing up within 30 days and for the City of Paris to continue mowing the <br />property. Motion carried unanimously. 7-0 <br />D. 661 NW 13`h, Lot 10, Block 9, Colonial Addition <br />Owner: Raymond & Ella Mae Lester, PO Box 1245 Paris, TX 75461 <br />Robert Talley stated that he had talked to Ella Mae Lester and that Raymond <br />Lester has passed away and at that time they were not married. She doesn't want <br />anything to do with the property. Robert stated that the property has fire damage <br />and the floor is burnt so you can see the ground. There is a hole in the roof and <br />missing windows also. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: 30 days to demolish if not the City has the right <br />to demolish and apply a$1000 per day civil penalty. <br />Motion was made by Zack Saftle, seconded by Chris Brown to follow Robert <br />Talley's recommendation for the property owner to demolish the property in <br />30 days, if not the City has the right to demolish and apply a$1000 per day <br />civil penalty to the property. Motion carried unanimously. 7-0 <br />E. 226 NE l l", Lot 17, City Block 32-A <br />Owner: Roger W& Dayna L Ballard, 1500 FM 1510, Brookston, TX 75421 <br />Robert Talley has spoken with Roger Ballard and Mr. Ballard stated he would do <br />what needs to be done. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: 30 days to demolish, if not the City has the <br />right to demolish and apply a$1000 per day civil penalty. <br />Motion was made by Vicky Ballard, seconded by Chris Brown to follow <br />Robert Talley's recommendation for the property owner to demolish the <br />property in 30 days, if not the City has the right to demolish and apply a <br />$1000 per day civil penalty to the property.
