City Council Meeting <br />July 5, 2001 <br />Page 4 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2001-043 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />PARIS, TEXAS, AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE <br />CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES <br />ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING <br />A ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2 (SF-2), WITH SPECIFIC <br />USE PERMIT (25) DAY NURSERY ON LOT 4, BLOCK 2, HILLCREST <br />ADDITION, AS REQUESTED BY PAT MUREHEAD, AGENT FOR <br />DONALD L MOON, OWNER, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN <br />TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE-FAMILY DWELLING <br />DISTRICT NO. 2 (SF-2); DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE <br />ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2 (SF-2) WITH SPECIFIC USE <br />PERMIT (25) DAY NURSERY SO ESTABLISHED; PROVIDING FOR A <br />PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $2,000.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES <br />OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND <br />PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF AUGUST 1. 2001, WAS <br />PRESENTED. <br /> <br />Councilman Carter entered the council chambers and assumed his seat at the <br />council table at 6:25 pm. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Mayor Pro Tem Manning, seconded by Councilman <br />McCarthy, for adoption of the ordinance. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br /> <br />City Attorney Schenk presented the following petition for rezoning: Kenny <br />Kammer, Lots 4, 5, 6, 18, 19, 20, and part of Lots 3 and 17, Block I of the <br />Warren Addition. <br /> <br />Mayor Pfiester referred the petition to the Planning and Zoning Commission <br />for their study and recommendation at their meeting scheduled for August 6, <br />2001, and before the City Council August 9, 2001. <br /> <br /> <br />
